Day 1: Recycled LP Records
LP records are a thing of the past (although I still have some of mine!) but they have been given new life with these fantastic recycled beverage coasters! When I saw these listed on Inhabitat.com I was so excited! I was looking for good eco-friendly gifts and my sister is a huge music lover (she's a performer and rock star!) and I thought this would be perfect for her! These coasters are created from the center of actual vinyl LP records with the labels still intact and cut around the label then coated with a clear mylar seal. East set includes 6 coaster with different labels from a wide assortment of artists, genres and colors. Another great feature? They are MADE in the USA!
Get these for your nostalgic music lover - they are sure to be the talk of their next party! $18.95 (+ $3.98 shipping) Gift Wrap available at checkout
More Great Gift Ideas from Recycled LPs:
Small Recycled LP Bowls - from cereal to snacks, these 6.5" bowls are perfect for your music fan and are only $6.44 with FREE shipping!
Vinyl Record Bowls - 70's/80's Pop Genre - 12" bowls with labels from artists such as Madonna, Duran Duran, Blondie, etc.
Vinyl Album Record Bowl - Rock Essentials - also 12" may have labels such as Aerosmith, The Kinks, Hendrix, and Eagles
Recycled Vinyl LP Record Bowl - Crooners Genre includes labels such as Sinatra, Tony Bennett or Dean Martin
I like the bowls but I actually would love to have a record player
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome, but you can actually make these yourself, if you're not scared of a little heat! If you get a chance, come by and see the record bowl here: http://sofiasideas.com/2010/11/20/resource-depot-turning-waste-into-wonder/
